Apparatus Iron is a collaboration of two artists, Sharon Holnback and Sarah Kucerova. Apparatus Iron creates metal garden ornaments and other ornamental features for the home and garden.
Apparatus Iron garden ornaments are original designs handcrafted by the artists. The process of their creation begins with the freehand drawing of designs onto sheet steel. The individually crafted pieces include flowers, bugs, animals and other whimsical designs. These drawings are then cut out using a plasma cutter, and welded onto steel sticks. The assembled pieces are given a rich patina of rust and sealed with clear lacquer. Many designs incorporate glass beads adding a jewel-like quality to the pieces.
Our new line is comprised of structures, furnishings, lighting and accessories that together form the ultimate garden environment. |
